Salehoo is a popular tool for finding certified wholesalers, manufacturers and drop shippers from around the world – and Shopify is currently the most popular e-commerce application, so how well do these two market leading tools work together?
Salehoo is a directory of about 8,000 verified suppliers, mostly based in the United States, UK, Australia, Canada and China. From these suppliers, about 1.5 million products are available to search through in the members area, browse and buy – directly from the suppliers themselves.
Shopify is a popular platform for building e-commerce sites, and it's been around for several years. Setting up stores with Shopify and importing products to sell has become the latest 'make money' craze on the Internet of late, and it's easy to see why – Shopify is cheap and easy to use, it also comes with thousands of apps that add a lot of functionality to the platform.
Integrated or Not?
However, there is no Salehoo app for Shopify, like there is for a similar product called Oberlo. This means that it's not possible to import products and fulfil orders automatically like you can using Oberlo and Ali Express with a Shopify store. This is a big negative for Salehoo – and similar older style directories like Worldwide Brands – in the new faster age of e-commerce.
